Department of commerce was established in 1985-86. It is that area of education that develops the required knowledge, skills and attitudes for the successful handling of trade, commerce and industry. As per latest trends in the market courses are introduced, as in addition to general course in B.COM.and B.COM.Hons. we have vocational and specialised courses namely computer applications, advertising, banking and insurance,& e-commerce at UG level ,M.COM. at PG level and to give practical exposure of financial accounting softwares with latest versions, we have Add on course in Tally. In addition to this we have UGC sponsored career oriented course in hospital management
